Discover the art of wheel-throwing in this weekly, 2 hour hands-on class designed for beginners and intermediate potters alike. You'll learn the fundamentals of centering clay, pulling walls, and shaping forms on the potter's wheel. Whether you're creating your first bowl or refining your technique, this class provides guided instruction and plenty of practice time. Includes a free 25lb bag of clay, access to studio tools, and glazing sessions.
First day of the Wednesday night class with Matt starts May 6th, 6:30-8:30pm. Class dates are: 05.06, 05.13, 05.20, 05.27, 06.03, 06.10, 06.17, and 06.24.
First day of the Thursday night class with Caroline starts May 7th, 6:30-8:30pm. Class dates are: 05.07, 05.14, 05.21, 05.28, 06.04, 06.11, 06.18, and 06.25.
If you are unable to attend one of these scheduled class dates, makeup dates are available. During the first week of class, your instructor will provide a QR code to schedule your makeup dates. Please contact hello@blackolivepottery.com with any questions!
