Discover the art of wheel-throwing in this weekly, 2 hour hands-on class designed for beginners and intermediate potters alike. You'll learn the fundamentals of centering clay, pulling walls, and shaping forms on the potter's wheel. Whether you're creating your first bowl or refining your technique, this class provides guided instruction and plenty of practice time. Includes a free 25lb bag of clay, access to studio tools, and glazing sessions.
October/November classes:
First day of the Monday morning classes with Caroline starts October 5th, 11:00am-1:00pm. Class dates are: 10.05, 10.12, 10.19, 10.26, 11.02, 11.19, 11.16, & 11.23.
First day of the Friday afternoon classes with Jackie starts October 2nd, 1:00-3:00pm. Class dates are: 10.02, 10.09, 10.16, 10.23, 10.30, 11.06, 11.13, & 11.20.
If you are unable to attend one of these scheduled class dates, makeup dates are available. We allow up to 3 makeup days throughout the 8-week session. During the first week of class, your instructor will provide a QR code to schedule your makeup dates. Please contact hello@blackolivepottery.com with any questions!
